Data Deletion

Bailar, Inc., a Delaware corporation (successor by statutory conversion effective May 4, 2026 to Bailar LLC, a Florida limited liability company) (“Bailar”) allows you to request deletion of your account and personal data. This page explains how to delete your data and what happens when you do. This page should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which governs all collection, use, and retention of personal information.

HOW TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

Sign in at bailar.site, open Account → Security & account, and use Delete Account. Type the confirmation word and confirm — the same 30-day processing window below applies. You can also download a copy of your data from the same page first.

Option 3: Email Request

If you cannot access the app or the website, you may request account deletion by emailing privacy@bailar.site from the email address associated with your account. Include the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and your username or phone number for verification.

We will process email deletion requests within 30 days.

WHAT DATA IS DELETED

When you delete your account, we deactivate it immediately and hide your profile and user-facing content. The following categories are then deleted or anonymized as the deletion job runs, generally within 30 days. A small number of referential records may remain until remaining deletion-pipeline work is completed; we do not represent that every associated row is erased on the day you confirm. An in-app portable export covers core account data and is not a complete dump of every record we store.

Categories removed in the ordinary deletion path:

(a) Your profile information (name, bio, photos, preferences);
(b) Your RSVPs and bookmarks;
(c) Your comments, reviews, and reactions;
(d) Your direct messages;
(e) Your uploaded photos and videos;
(f) Your notification history; and
(g) Your push notification tokens and device information.

WHAT DATA MAY BE RETAINED, AND FOR HOW LONG

Certain data may be retained after account deletion as permitted by our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy:

(a) Legal compliance and dispute records (up to the limitation period required by applicable law): data required to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful legal process, resolve disputes, defend or enforce agreements, and document safety reports including CSAM reports to NCMEC;
(b) Transaction and tax records (as required by applicable law, typically up to 7 years): payment receipts, payouts, refunds, chargebacks, and tax-relevant marketplace-facilitator records;
(c) Encrypted disaster-recovery backups (up to 90 days): personal information may persist in rolling encrypted backups for up to ninety (90) days after deletion, after which it is rotated out;
(d) Aggregated or de-identified data (indefinite): statistics, counts, and reports that do not identify you personally; restricted by contract or technical safeguard from re-identification; and
(e) Identity-verification (biometric) data (up to 3 years): if you completed instructor or payout identity verification, the government-ID image and selfie facial-match data are retained for up to three (3) years from verification approval under our biometric retention schedule, then destroyed (see Privacy Policy Section 6.7).

PROCESSING TIME

Account deletion is initiated promptly upon your confirmed request. Your profile, posts, comments, and reviews are hidden immediately, and your account remains deactivated for a thirty (30) day grace window during which you can cancel the deletion by signing back in. When that window ends, your account and personal-data records — including your reactions (likes) on other users’ content — are permanently deleted or anonymized within one day, subject to the retention exceptions on this page and in Privacy Policy Section 6, and any residual copies of your stored media are erased promptly afterward as our storage purge completes. During the deletion window your account is deactivated and your profile and content are no longer visible to other users. Encrypted disaster-recovery backups continue to roll out per the 90-day window described above.

CANCELLATION

If you change your mind after requesting deletion, you may contact us at privacy@bailar.site before the deletion is finalized to cancel the request.
